Steve McCurry, a celebrated photographer for over five decades, began his career after studying cinematography at Pennsylvania State University. His journey commenced with a life-changing trip to India, armed only with a camera and minimal belongings. In Pakistan, he risked his life to document the Russian invasion, unveiling its brutality to the world. McCurry's captivating portfolio spans the globe, capturing vanishing cultures, traditions, and contemporary life, all while preserving the human essence. His numerous accolades include the Robert Capa Gold Medal and the Royal Photographic Society's Centenary Medal for a lifetime of remarkable achievements. In 2019, he was inducted into the International Photography Hall of Fame.
